How it Works¶
FF portal is made up of a number of Lime add-ons and tools to create a coherent workflow for both installer and grid owner. These are summarized in Requirements
The portal¶
The FF portal is a Lime Portal with embedded Lime Forms within it.
Creating a new installation request is done by selecting one of several (usually 8-12) types of installations in the portal. This opens a Lime Form that is embedded in the portal. The installer provides information about the installation, such as adresses, contact details and installation specific information. These processes are aided by searches to Lime CRM and conditions in the forms.
Each installation type is standardized but can be customized to fit the specific needs of a particular grid company.
Lime CRM¶
Workflows in Lime CRM include
- Approving or denying installations
- Communicating with installers
What information is transferred to Lime CRM when an installation request is made is mapped in Forms2CRM, the standard integration method of Lime Forms. The objects created in Lime are typically
- *a ticket (what company is installing, who is the installer) *
- a report (what is to be done, who is the customer, dates, etc.)
- documents, if supplied
